Goals for 2019 - June Review

We are halfway through 2019, so time to review my goals for the year!

  1. JABA Subscribe to the Journal for Applied Behaviour Analysis. Subscription purchased, and utilised frequently!

  2. Sponsor ASAT Provide a Professional Level Sponsorship for the Association for Science in Autism Treatment. Sponsorship is done!

  3. Facebook Reach 1000 Facebook Page 'Likes'. 1000 is a nice, even number. Currently the Facebook page is at 980 (10 up from last check-in!), so a few more have joined in!

  4. Conference Attendance Attend at least 3 conferences in 2019 (can be all ABA, or a mix). I've already attended two conferences this year (and had an awesome time, and learned a LOT!!! Need to implement now!) 1. The Verbal Behaviour Conference, Austin, Texas. 2. ABAI in Chicago Coming up - ABAA in July down in Melbourne, and ABAI International Conference in Stockholm, Sweden, in September as a panelist!

  5. Conference Abstracts Submit 3 abstracts for conference posters/presentations. Three done! (And one presented!) 1. Poster at ABAI in Chicago in May (completed). 2. Presentation at ABAA in Melbourne in July. 3. Panel at ABAI International in Sweden in September. Check out our research page, to find out more.

  6. Volunteer Commit to one volunteer opportunity - e.g. 1 day, 1 activity, 1 year. I've signed up for the ASAT Externship program. In the first few months, so just getting settled in, but keen to see where it goes!

  7. Journal/Book Club Read 4 articles/book and summarise in 4 separate blog posts.

Still nothing towards this goal. I will need to add it to my to-do list so I actually do one!!!

Feeling a little on top of the goals so far. A few other exciting things have been in the works (Essential for Living Workshops!) but also other mini goals I should be working towards too!
